Radmila Johnson, Author

Born in the former Yugoslavian region of Herzegovina, Radmila's early childhood was spent on the Adriatic coast. With her mother she moved to the culturally rich international city of Belgrade where she studied foreign languages, writing, theater, and film making at the Avala Film Academy. Later, she traveled to Germany, France, Great Britain, and Italy.

In America, Radmila studied fashion, design, and modeling. As Owner/Director of Radmila's School and Agency of Beauty, Fashion, and Modeling, she taught a traditional curriculum of etiquette and manners. Her models, selected by leading New York agencies—Elite, John Casablanca and Ford—appeared in top fashion magazines throughout the world.

Later, freelance journalism on the east coast of the United States led her to such celebrities as Elizabeth Taylor, Anna Maria Alberghetti, Luciano Pavarotti, Theodore Bikel, Leo Buscaglia and more.

Eventually, Radmila settled down to write her first book, "A Nun And An Officer." Now she's working towards her goal to see it as a feature film. Radmila is a member of the Writer's Guild of America, Women In Film, and Women In Journalism.
